   In 1881, Benjamin Rush Jolly established a jewelry company that, after its first two decades of operation, became the most well-known and highly-respected jewelry store in North Carolina. The company focused its efforts on the sale of fine gemstones, jewelry, watches, silverware, custom jewelry and hand engraving. "Grandpa Jolly's" great-grandson, Frank Jolly Ragsdale, now operates the company. 

          The philosophy developed by Grandpa is the foundation upon which the company operates. Grandpa believed anyone who came through his door was paid a compliment. Our customers are treated with respect and dignity, are given the finest service and are always told the truth. If telling a customer the truth results in losing a sale, nothing but the sale is lost.           The experience gained during a century and a quarter of operation influence every aspect of our business. Jolly's currently occupies a spacious store in the heart of Raleigh's new North Hills Lifestyle Center.
